How to count days between two dates
Enter a start date and an end date, then press Calculate. The tool counts the whole days from one to the other and also breaks it down into weeks and a years-months-days total. The order doesn't matter — it always shows a positive count.

Frequently asked questions
Does it include both the start and end date?
It counts the number of days from the start date to the end date. For example, from January 1 to January 2 is 1 day. If you need to include both endpoints (an inclusive count), add 1 to the result.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. The calculation uses real calendar dates, so leap years and month lengths are all accounted for automatically.
How are business days counted?
Business days are every day in the span that isn't a Saturday or Sunday. Public holidays vary by country, so they aren't deducted — subtract them yourself if you need a precise working-day figure for one region.
Where do the historical events come from?
